Hi my name is Rhonda Imlay , I have 2 adult children and 1 precious grand baby!  I’m  married and have lived in cache valley  most of my life.

I attended Weber state university and studied business , later after having children I went into child development with an emphasis in special needs. I worked at cache county schools for 16 years as a paraprofessional and in special ed  preschool..

After leaving the District I came to Dooodlebug because I love  working with children, currently I am an infant teacher and  I love being with the babies it is so rewarding!!!!

I like spending time with my granddaughter, hiking, camping and crafting.

I’m Kenzy the afternoon/evening infant’s teacher. I love spending time with all our little ones and even have a baby of my own that attends doodlebug too! I’m an undergrad at Utah State University in my fourth and final year studying psychology. I’m an avid reader, I love animals (especially my own two cats), and I’m very crafty!

Hi! I’m Lizzie. I am the 4B teacher. Some of my hobbies are photography, cooking, reading, and spending time with my family. 

I have been at Doodlebug since October 2020. I love working with the kids and watching them learn and grow!

“Hi! My name is Amanda Haslam. I am the head cook at Doodlebug Academy. February 2022 marks my two years of service in this center. I have been in the food service for almost 15 years now and there is something about cooking that I just love. I am married and have been blessed with a little boy. We live in Franklin, Idaho. We have lived there for almost five years already. When I’m not at Doodlebug, I love spending time with my family—going on RZR rides, camping and sitting around a fire, going for drives up the canyon, or just chilling at home. I look forward to keeping a full belly and a smile on all children now and in the future here at Doodlebug Academy.”

Amy and Michael James, Owners

“We are Amy and Michael James, the owners of Doodlebug Academy. Amy is in the role of the director, working with teachers, families, and the kids; while Michael manages business finances and dealings, building maintenance, and other tasks.

We moved to Cache Valley in November 2009 with our three children (Justin, Christopher, and Chloe) and have loved living in the valley. We are very pleased to provide our friends and neighbors with the best childcare, preschool, private kindergarten, summer camp, and school-age programs available nowhere else in the valley.

We designed our building with childcare and children in mind. We are certain that you will agree that it is a wonderful place for your children to explore, learn, and grow during the hours they are unable to be with their parents.

Becky, Assistant Director

Becky has been with Doodlebug Academy since we opened in March of 2018.  She continues to serve as the Assistant Director for Doodlebug Academy, specializing in billing and enrollment. Her dedication ensures smooth operations and a seamless experience for families and staff alike.

Kellie, Assistant Director

Kellie is the Assistant Director at Doodlebug Academy, overseeing staff and operations. Since joining in January 2021, she has focused on ensuring teachers are well-trained in the latest childcare and preschool practices. Passionate about fostering children’s happiness, growth, and development, Kellie enjoys working closely with both teachers and children. She ensures that Doodlebug Academy operates in compliance with Childcare Licensing rules and upholds the high standards of NECPA accreditation.
